Scott Kidd has over 25 years of maritime experience, including new builds, refits, project management and yacht management. He is a licensed USCG Master of 1600 US tonnage / 3000 international all oceans. With a background in IT and a strong mechanical background in maritime, transportation, machinery and heavy equipment. In this career his cruising includes the Mediterranean, Gulf Coast including Mexico, Great Lakes, Pacific Alaska to Panama, Atlantic Canada to Florida, Caribbean, Bahamas and South China Sea, onboard vessels of many types and sizes. Scott Kidd is also a member and mentor for Legasea, a social platform developed to seeing the maritime industry at its best. Scott Kidd has been a multifamily real estate investor for the past few years. He is invested in multifamily apartment syndications in Ohio, North Carolina, Oklahoma and joint ventures in Florida. He also runs a monthly meetup group, Yachtie real Estate Investors in Florida, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Stuart, in collaboration with SoFLO Real Estate Network and Real Estate Queens.
